Snug As A Bug Or…..Growing with Grobag

August 12, 2010

You baby has grown up safe and secure, all comfy and cozy while sleeping in a Grobag baby sleeping bag.  You have found a Grobag for all season, tog 1.0 for warm summer months, tog 2.5 for year round except hot summer months and tog 0.5 for very hot climates.  Grobag baby sleeping bags have let you and your baby sleep in peace knowing that baby is covered and safe at all times.

Now your baby has grown and is in his/her toddler years. It is time to move onto a “big kids bed”.  You worry about the blankets falling off at night.   You worry about your toddler falling out of bed. You worry, worry worry.  The people at Grobag are trying to help eliminate as much worry as possible and have come up with this ingenious solution to “big kid bedding”.

The ingenious design of the grobag first duvet bedding sets means they’ll have the safety and security of a baby sleeping bag without the fear of them falling out of bed or pillows going over their heads.

(Duvet sold separately)

With the grobag first duvet bedding set, the cover can be securely attached to the fitted bottom sheet using a zip system on both sides, so it’s easy for your little one’s to get into bed, but you’ll have the peace of mind that they can’t fall out! Plus the pillowcase is also attached to the bottom sheet – eliminating the risk of it going over their head in the night.

Until quite recently baby sleeping bags were a little known form of bedding in the UK. As a result of grobag’s continued work with FSID and dedication to safety, grobag® are now the only baby sleeping bags to be recommended by FSID, our official partner in promoting safer sleeping for babies

Big Kid Bedding

June 20, 2009

Making the transition from a crib to a bed is never easy.  It causes worry for the parents, constant checking up at night to make sure the little one has not fallen out of bed ( my 3 children never even woke up when they fell , just continued sleeping on the floor!)

No matter how much I tucked the blanket in under the mattress and pulled up the sheets, my kids were inevitably on the floor at around 2:00a.m.  I would have to wake my husband to help get them back in bed without waking them.

Since then Grobag (the most trusted name in baby sleeping bags) has come out with the greatest (in my opinion) of big kid bedding available in the market today.  Now available at http://www.petiteposh.com, Grobag bedding is an amazing continuation of the Grobag name.  Your child cannot fall out of bed in the middle of the night ( unless he is a mini houdini!) and with this bedding stays covered all night long. The pillow case is attached to the sheet so you can sleep worry free!

Here is a short video to see how the bedding comes together to give you and your little one a peaceful sleep.

Have Bubbles….Will Travel

June 25, 2008

Being a new grandmother I have come to realize that certain things available today definitely make new parents lives just a bit easier.  Travelling with a baby is not so simple.  You pack up the diaper bag, dress the baby, put her in the car seat.  If it is chilly have a blanket handy, make sure the blanket doesn’t fall off or get caught in the wheels of the stroller and on and on and on.

Grobag has come out with a travel baby bag……brilliant!  This design has a two-way front travel zipper and back vent for effortless transfer from car seat to crib or stroller.  The back vent has been designed with Velcro so that there is no uncomfortable zipper at the back.

Now why didn’t they think of this when our kids were babies?

Peek a Boo

May 13, 2008

Travelling with baby and/or toddler can be quite a feat!

Check list:

  1. diaper bag full of diapers, baby wipes, bottle, snack, pacifier, teething ring, etc
  2. hat and sweater
  3. blankie or doudou
  4. car seat cover
  5. car seat in place
  6. don’t forget BABY!!!

Hopefully I didn’t forget anything.  So now you have made a few trips to arrange all the baggage and supplies neatly and in place.  While driving you don’t want to have to feel around for anything.  Baby is in the car seat and away you go.

Every now and then you adjust your rear view mirror to see that the baby is happy and comfortable…by now your neck is hurting from turning around and the rear view mirror is just about ready to fall off from constant adjustments.

Petiteposh can help with the neck problem and the rear view mirror!  It is called the “See me smile, bearview mirror.”  Just put it on the passenger seat facing the baby and facing the rear view mirror.  Everytime you want to check up on the baby you can just glance in the rear view mirror and see the smile on your little ones face.

See Me Smile, the Bearview Mirror
