May showers?

 

 

Spring is finally here.  The sun is shining and the snow has melted….it is what we call in our house ….dirty dog weather!  The soil is so wet and muddy that everytime Pacey goes out she gets all muddy, her paws, her fur even her belly.  After being outside she sits on the front mat and waits for us to clean her off, she is so sweet and gentle.  The kids love to wipe her paws for her.  As they do this they hug and kiss her and she is in doggy heaven, loving every moment.

May seems to be the month of baby showers!  Here are a few ideas to make your baby shower just a bit more special:

Choose the right theme, a nursery rhyme theme , if you know the sex of the baby perhaps a color can be your theme, if the parents have a special interest, for instance, if they are avid cyclists you can make a baby shower theme around baby products for the small cyclist.  Or , if you prefer make a baby shower just for Mom… a spa baby shower.  Concerned about Dad feeling left out?  Make a couples baby shower.  A little imagination can go a long way.  Once you have a theme the rest of the planning is easy.  Invitations, decorations, food and sweets, everything is connected to the theme.
